Deleted something important?
DONT PANIC & DONT USE YOUR PC!
Did you know that when you delete a file, the file hasn't actually gone? It sits on your hard drive waiting for something else to come along and over-write it.
If you don't save anything to your PC after the file has been deleted, there's a high chance iit can be recovered!
Why pay for stuff you dont need?
Pre-built machines have come a long way but you're essentially paying for components you dont need. For example, you dont need a machine with an expensive graphics card if all you do is browse the net, view photos and send emails.

This is without a doubt the best free DVD & CD burning software there is. We use it daily here at theITfolk and we've even stopped using our 'paid for' software. We love how easy it is to use and again it's free!
humyo.com - Online Storage
Get a whopping 10GB free online storage. Use it how you like but we recommend saving your precious photos there so you have an 'off site' backup!
Free Download Manager
There's nothing more frustrating than having to re-start a large download due to a connection error. FDM removes that issue by restarting the download from the exact point each time a connection is lost.

It's often much cheaper to upgrade the components in an older PC than to buy a new one. Processors, RAM, Hard Drives, DVD burners etc. can all be upgraded separately to keep your machine current.

We no longer provide web hosting as a stand alone product, but we do recommend a number of hosting companies who will host your site cheaply.
You will be responsible for paying the hosting company, but we'll do all the technical work that's involved in getting your new site on the internet.

Wired or Wireless in the Home?
With the whole family owning their own laptop, having them connected to a home network is a must. 'Secure' Wireless networks are ideal for multi PC homes, but wired networks are often required, particularly if High Definition Video is being streamed to a the TV.
A Clean Slate?
On rare occasions when a computer is too far gone and needs to be put out of it's misery, we can if required, backup your files, reformat your hard drive and reinstall all your software returning the PC to the state it was in the day you bought it. Nice and fast! This option is only available if you have the original Microsoft Windows product key.
3 Rules to ensure you don't lose your data. Backup, backup and backup!
Family videos and photos are priceless so you MUST back these up. Our tip would be to burn your photos to disc and send them to someone you trust. If your PC is stolen or your house burnt to the ground, your photos will be safe! We can show you the best way to backup your data!

When you've chosen the components for your custom built machine and tallied up the costs, it's often reassuring to compare the price to a similar spec machine of a leading brand. You'll be amazed at how much cheaper your custom build is.

We won't boggle your mind with jargon or technical talk when we teach you how to use your PC. Our down to earth team will teach you using simple terminology that anyone will understand.
